Eagle Raceway & Lincoln Advertising Federation presents Full Throttle Basket & Bottle Balloon Festival! -FRIDAY, May 25th, 2012
–We welcome the Nebraska Balloon Club for participating in this first time ever event taking place at Eagle Raceway on Friday night, May 25th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Weather permitting…there will be a Hot Air Balloon Exposition…Launch and Glow times will be determined by the weather. Also featuring Wine Tasting with a variety of quality products including Wine samples from Superior Estates Winery, Wunder Rosa Winery and Schilling Bridge. Beer samples include…Thunderhead, Tallgrass, Lucky Bucket, Boulevard, Nebraska Brewing, New Belgium, Schilling Bridge, Empyrean’s Chaco Canyon, Watch Man & Super Nova, Duggan’s Wheat, Blue Blood Brewing Company, Shock Top and more. -Enjoy Live Music by the Sandhills Jazz Collective -Specialty Food selections will be available also
Gate opens at 6:00pm. Sampling Tickets at the Gate: Adults(21+) $25 (must be 21 with ID to purchase a Sampling Ticket) General Tickets: $15 (without samplings) A portion of the proceeds will benefit The People’s Health Center and Advertising Federation of Lincoln Scholarship Fund.

Your Sampling Ticket includes a Souvenir Wine Glass, 5 Samplings of Wine or Beer, Hot Air Balloon Expo and Live Music by The Sandhills Jazz Collective! If weather does not permit the Hot Air Balloons to launch, the tasting will still occur.

The People’s Health Center (PHC) opened its doors on September 30, 2003. The PHC was established to provide a medical home to those patients who face barriers to receiving the health care they need. Many of those barriers include little or no health insurance, limited resources and language barriers. The PHC has become the primary safety net provider in the Lincoln, Nebraska area.
No outside food or beverage is allowed into the gate entrance. Lawn chairs are welcomed. Thank you for your cooperation.
